Frequently Asked Questions

What are the basic beliefs of Oasis Community Church?

We hold to the inspiration and authority of the Bible, the Trinity, the perfect deity and humanity of Christ, the sinfulness of man, the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ, the bodily resurrection and ascension of Christ, the imminent return of Christ, a literal heaven and hell, and that obedience (love) is the absolute evidence of a genuine believer.

At what times are your services?

We serve breakfast every Sunday at 9:30 am and worship services are immediately following at 10:00 am.

We also regularly hold Small groups, Bible studies and other fellowship events.

Where are you located?

1520 South Maine Street, Fallon, Nevada 89406.

We appreciate your correspondence - do stay in touch! Please use the above address for any mailings you wish to send to Oasis Community Church.

What do I do with my kids during the service?

We dismiss the children and youth before the message so that they may attend Sunday School.

Please see details below:

Sunday School

  • Pre-School Group: Ages 2 1/2 to 5
    Grade School Group: K - 5th Grade
  • Jr High: 6th - 8th Grade
  • Nursery: A nursery is available for children ages 0-2 1/2. If you prefer to keep your children with you during the service you are welcome to do so.

Do you have an active youth group?

Yes! Our youth are blessed to have the leadership and guidance of our Youth Pastor Sam Sexton and his wife Sarah. Middle school meets on Sunday mornings during the service, and the High School meets on Sunday nights from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Both studies are held in the Youth building next to the church.

If you have any questions, you can call Sam at (209)324-7987.

What should I wear to services?

Wear what makes you feel comfortable. We are more interested in that you are here rather than what you are wearing.
