Tozer Daily Devotional

The Christian churches of our day have suffered a great loss in rejecting the example of good men, choosing instead the "celebrity of the hour" for their pattern. We must agree that it is altogether unlikely that we know who our "greatest" men are. One thing is sure, however-the greatest man alive today is the best man alive today. That is not open to debate....

... a community church committed to obey God's Word which reveals to us the glorious news of salvation and gives instruction for daily living.

...that God loves each person and desires that each one of us experience His love and His perfect plan for living.

...that the fellowship, love, and instruction of our service will help you discover God's wonderful way and strengthen you in it.

Spaghetti Dinner
Thursday, 16 July 2015 10:10

Spaghetti Dinner/Sauce Cook Off

There will be an all you can eat spaghetti dinner and Sauce Cook Off on Tuesday, August 11th, beginning at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall and continuing until they run out of food.

This dinner is to benefit the upcoming Woman's Retreat.  There are no tickets to purchase, but donations for the meal will be accepted.

If you would like to enter your sauce in the Sauce Cook Off, then you will need to contact Michele Russell, at 775-217-1028, and have her put your name on the official list.  You will need to bring a crock pot full of the sauce and have it at the church no later than 5:30pm.  Our team of judges, Pastor and the elders, will then eat a sample of your sauce and determine a winner.

The Women of Oasis will provide a salad, pasta, fresh baked bread, drinks and dessert.
