Tozer Daily Devotional

  • CHRIST IS NOT DIVIDED
Much of our full gospel literature and much of our preaching tend to perpetuate a misunderstanding of what the Bible says about obedience and Christian discipleship. I think the following is a fair statement of what I was taught in my early Christian experience and before I began to pray and study and anguish over the whole matter: "We are saved by accepting Christ as...

WE ARE

... a community church committed to obey God's Word which reveals to us the glorious news of salvation and gives instruction for daily living.

WE BELIEVE

...that God loves each person and desires that each one of us experience His love and His perfect plan for living.

WE DESIRE

...that the fellowship, love, and instruction of our service will help you discover God's wonderful way and strengthen you in it.

Spaghetti Dinner
Thursday, 16 July 2015 10:10

Spaghetti Dinner/Sauce Cook Off

There will be an all you can eat spaghetti dinner and Sauce Cook Off on Tuesday, August 11th, beginning at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall and continuing until they run out of food.

This dinner is to benefit the upcoming Woman's Retreat.  There are no tickets to purchase, but donations for the meal will be accepted.

If you would like to enter your sauce in the Sauce Cook Off, then you will need to contact Michele Russell, at 775-217-1028, and have her put your name on the official list.  You will need to bring a crock pot full of the sauce and have it at the church no later than 5:30pm.  Our team of judges, Pastor and the elders, will then eat a sample of your sauce and determine a winner.

The Women of Oasis will provide a salad, pasta, fresh baked bread, drinks and dessert.

Do you have a military spouse or child or a college student in your family that is living away from home?

Oasis is gathering a list of names and addresses of loved ones that are living far from home, so that we can let them know how much we love them!

Please call the church office at 423-2300 with their information or email the information to us at info@oasiscma.org
